At the end of November, some cows got into the garden from the beach and made a big mess with their heavy feet and copious excreta. We now have a home-made fence that will hopefully keep them out and a compost bin full of fresh manure.

We had our first snow of the winter in mid-December but also some calm weather and we managed to get the kayaks out for a paddle into the sunset.
