High tide was at lunch time last weekend so we took our sandwiches out in the kayaks and paddled over to Knockbrex beach for lunch. There was a wind from the north west so it was a bit choppy on the way out towards Ardwall Island.


On the return journey we stayed in the shelter of Ardwall Island before heading back past Barlocco Island with the wind behind us. We got a good view of Craig Cottage as we paddled up Kirkandrews Bay.
