The under floor heating pipes have now been installed and there are rather a lot of them. This is the kitchen and sun room with spaces left for the kitchen island and cupboard units. The kitchen walls are now insulated and ready for plaster boarding once the floor screed has been laid.


There will be 14 heating zones with one zone per room and a couple of extras to cover large floor areas. The picture below shows the main mass of piping heading down the hallway from the manifolds which will be in the cupboard by the main entrance.


On the outside it’s been fairly wet but there has been progress on the slating and cedar cladding. The slating is complete apart from finishing round the original cottage chimneys and the cedar cladding is all done. Here’s a view of the mud bath outside the living room.
